FWIW, that particular idea hasn't been built or tested, and it wasn't thought of as a solution to the turbo backpressure issue until all of this came up. Can you tell me why you believe it is that there have been these instances where people have had no problems with exhaust smoke until immediately after installing downpipes and testpipes?
